How Wallpapers Central processes your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data we collect
Account data: email, name/username and user identifier when you sign up or log in (including via Apple or Google).
Content: wallpapers uploaded by creators, comments, favorites and downloads.
Payment data: for the PRO subscription, handled by the payment providers (we do not store card details).
Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and session statistics (in aggregate form).
3. Purposes and legal bases
Provide the service, account and PRO subscription — performance of a contract.
Security, abuse prevention and legal obligations — legal obligation / legitimate interest.
Measurement, marketing and personalized content — consent.
4. How and where we process
Data is processed with IT tools and security measures adequate to prevent unauthorized access. Processing takes place at the controller’s premises and those of the providers listed below.
5. Third-party services
To deliver the service we rely on providers acting as data processors:
Google Firebase — authentication and login (Apple/Google/email).
Google Analytics 4 — usage statistics (only with consent).
Stripe, PayPal — PRO subscription payment processing.
Hetzner — hosting and server infrastructure.
Cloudflare — CDN, security and abuse protection.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. In such cases the transfer is based on adequate safeguards (the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or recognized adequacy frameworks).
7. Data retention
We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is collected and, where required, to comply with legal obligations. Account data is kept while you keep your account; you can request its deletion at any time.
8. Your rights
At any time you can: withdraw consent, access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, request its portability and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
